The part-time positions listed below are seasonal/event driven and may or may not be available. Must be able to work nights and weekends, be punctual and dependable. Willing to train, although prior experience preferred. Serious inquiries only. Zamboni driver – Must have a valid driver’s license. The position is responsible for maintaining ice conditions for scheduled events as well as performing general cleaning throughout the facility. 

Timekeeper – An understanding of the game of hockey is preferred, must be at least 14 years of age. Hours are mostly on weekends and dependent on game schedules. 

Skate guard – Ability to skate required, must have own skates. Ensures safety & directs the flow of skaters on the ice rink during public skating.

Skate Rentals – Assist customers by providing skates (and helmets, if needed) from the rental booth. Ability to skate not required. 

Skate Sharpener – Position requires gathering information from each customer to best service their individual needs. Must be able to maintain a clean work environment, work well with others & handle cash sales with a POS system. The ability to skate is helpful, to relate to the customers and understand the edges. Will be working on a Blackstone Stealth, with top of the line technology and equipment. Please note: The skate sharpening machine and embroidery machines share a service area, which can become loud when all machines are operating.

Embroidery Machine Operator – Hockey pro shop (Hub City Hockey Supply) with in-house team & custom screen printing and embroidery service is looking for applicants to join us. This entails running multi-head embroidery machines, hooping and trimming garments. Potential to be cross-trained in other areas and to become full-time. Please note: The skate sharpening machine and embroidery machines share a service area, which can become loud when all machines are operating.
